Here at Young & Young Security we specialise in the installation and maintainance of access control systems.
Locks and keys allow you to secure your building, but when keys are lost or stolen, the inconvenience and expense of changing locks and re-issuing keys can be considerable. Keys may also be copied, creating even more security risks.
Access control provides security by giving flexible control over who is allowed to enter a building and when. The systems we employ will keep your buildings, staff and assets secure. From one door up to hundreds of doors across multiple sites, we have an access control solution to suit your needs.
Access control can also offer flexible control over users' access rights. For example, if used in the workplace all staff can gain access through the main door of a building, but access to internal areas may be restricted to those who have a specific need to be there. Access may also be restricted by time, only granting access to particular users at certain times of the day or night.
We cover a wide range of Access Control, a few of them are as follows-
Online Access Control
Online Electronic access control provides the most competent and convenient way of securing your home or business property. Installing access control means that you never have to change a lock again. Tokens are issued to allow access through controlled doors, and tokens are easily barred from the system if they are lost, stolen or just not returned by someone who leaves your company. Barred tokens will not allow access through the controlled doors.
Once an access control system is installed, all doors controlled by the system will automatically lock when the door is closed.
The new and exciting Biometric Access Control systems allows authorised entry to any standard type door, this type of access control works by measuring a pre-stored match to a users fingerprint. When the user places his/her finger onto the lock reader the electric lock release mechanism will unlock the door. Biometric locks have many advantages over conventional Access Control and are ideal for any small business or property's requiring restricted access.
Electronic locks are typically considered to be more secure than conventional mechanical locks as they boast additional useful features such as auditing successful and failed access attempts.
Among other things, electronic locking systems are one of the most difficult locking mechanism to bypass due to their complex nature. They have many different methods, each of them as complex and secure as the last (if not more). Since most electronic locks can't be picked the old fashioned way it does prevent burglaries and other crimes from ever being committed.
